Using SampleTank without Ignition Pack

I'm currently running Cubase on a PC and am soon switching platforms to Mac OSX and also getting into ProTools. I haven't decided between LE and M-Powered yet, because I've got a few questions:

Is an Intel Mac compatible version of SampleTank 2 LE only available to customers who buy ProTools LE or HD? M-Powered users don't get the Ignition Pack (which contains the program) - but I already own SampleTank 2 LE (which includes an RTAS version). If I bought M-Powered to run on an Intel iMac, would I be able to install my current version and then download the Intel Mac updater? Or must I purchase something that includes the Ignition Pack to get an Intel Mac compatible version (at least until IK gets a Universal Binary out)?

I know that M-Powered only works with certain M-Audio interfaces, and LE only works with Digidesign interfaces, but I assume that any plugins I buy to use in M-Powered would be able to be used in the event I later got LE - correct?
