It's been known for a while now that Maverik was iffy to not compatible in the worst cases with eucon, don't know why people keep updating to an OS that's not even supported yet? Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

If you buy a new Mac computer you are stuck with Mavericks. You don't have a choice. It's been out long enough now that these incompatibility issues really should be fixed.

problem is that Apple comes out with a new os every 12 months are so, Yosemite is already pointing it's nose, a lot of company that have multiple hardware/software don't keep up with that pace so you shouldn't expect that everything will be compatible with everything when everything keeps changing every 12 months or so. Have you tried wiping the drive and installing mountain lion?

Yes apples need for attention is so great that they call it a new OS every year.

The majority of these should be service updates...but then that doesn't garner as much attention now does it.....

I think that's the only thing I miss from Windows. At a minimum 3 years b/t major release .

Mavericks has been around for a while now, enough excuses already, other software/hardware makers don't have issues like this. AVID is awful at tech support. They should hang their heads in shame

It happened to have 10.9.4 on the computer where I need the eucon controller.
Disabling App Nap in general for the system Fixes it!
