Pro-Tools adding extra audio information??
I've been having problems with a program that I use to turn powerpoints into webpages for people to easily view online. Anyway it takes .wav files and will convert them. However when I try to use it with simple stereo 16 bit 44.1k files I get errors.
I know this sounds like the other program has a problem right? Where here is the twist. I pull the waves into soundforge, and it tells me that my files has extra audio information and asks if I would like to strip the files. Once I strip the files of this "extra audio information" they work fine with my converter. What is the extra information that is being used and should this really interfeir with other audio programs using the files?? Maybe not the right place to ask this but I have a 002 so I thought it woudl be valid. : ) |
