Sudden Issue With Playback on One Session
Hi guys!
Been working on this track for a good two months and getting very close (famous last words!)...all of a sudden pressing play takes the session to an imaginary bar -1978 and its impossible to get it to play on the actual session. Changing session start time does't help anything, nor changing the link timeline and edit/track and edit. 1.Does anyone have any ideas? Never seen a weird bug like this before if it is a bug. I wasn't really pressing any strange keys or anything when it happened. 2. If not, is the easiest way to hopefully fix this to copy each track/session data on a new session via the import track command? My other sessions play back fine. Thanks as always! |

Tried saving a copy of the session, and the copy has the same issue.

Oh God copying session data also causes the same problem, starting to really worry now!!!

Re: Sudden Issue With Playback on One Session
If you look at min/sec, is that one hour?
If so, that might be a clue. I remember having session start move by an hour, back in PT8/10 days.

Re: Sudden Issue With Playback on One Session
Hi Ben, thanks for your reply.
No, it says 8C859:59:99...yes 8C is not a typo! Even exporting selected audio and importing it in a new clean session brings the issue with it!! All other sessions still work perfectly. Going a little crazy. |

Re: Sudden Issue With Playback on One Session
Damn it...old sessions do work fine, but importing anything on new sessions now causes this problem. This is all started mid session without touching anything haha...so weird.

Re: Sudden Issue With Playback on One Session
Except for the "C8", that seems like pretty much like an hour to me. I think this is solvable.

Re: Sudden Issue With Playback on One Session
I can remember this thing happening, but unfortunately I can't remember what was the cause, and how we fixed it. But we did...

Re: Sudden Issue With Playback on One Session
Each bar is two seconds so i think the maths do work out to be an hour if you ignore the 8c! *1799 bars at 2 seconds is 3600 seconds right?)...Your optimism is very comforting through these dark times!
