Default NTFS Volume Copy over Network

I tried to copy 70 GB of PC compatible session work directly to a NTFS volume (with Paragon NTFS installed). When I copied it from the G5's USB 2.0 port to the NTFS volume, the operation stopped because I had "/" in some files.

Then I hooked the NTFS volume to a PC and copied the 70 GB with no errors. This was done through Windows XP.

The question is, should I be concerned about some files being skipped even though there were no errors?
