Official 7.4.2 Bug / Problem Thread - Let's Help Digi

I am running a Mac Pro 8 core 2.8 with 10gb ram, 10.5.3 and the new PTLE 7.4.2pr

I use a smart folder to search my clients folders so I can easily access them to email to the client when done, and since upgrading the smart folder has stopped automatically refreshing. I have also noticed Spotlight is re-indexing itself all the time.

OK I have removed 7.4.2pr from my system and gone back to 7.4.1rc4 and spotlight churned away for a fair while and now the smart folders are working again, so I would definitely say there is a problem there... any one else getting this?

We have three confirm cases so far, so it's definitely an issue on 7.4.2.

Indexing issue here as well. I've never seen the dot in my magnifying glass so much.

Anybody got the Music Production Toolkit and/or DV Toolkit working with 7.4.2pr as a fresh install?

Indexing issue here too on M-Powered 7.4.2pr - every time I quit PT it starts indexing the HD (takes very long)
Even if you disable Spotlight Indexing completely with the tool "Spotless 2.0.1" PT re-enables it again and again.

Hi there,

Here running into the spotlight trouble either and the core audio is not working properly.
I did uninstall PT and repair permissions from the install disk after re-installing PT.

Any-one a tip for getting core-audio to work?

Things seem to work fine, I put 20 traks of audio and 5 plugings on each every trak and it plays smooth:)

Audio Core work also fine, I can play from iTunes with no problem. I don't know what the option "mirroring on 1&2" means in Audio Core, . And don't know how this is supose to work with PT on..

After 3 days of trying, I had to give up Amplitube 2.1. I tried and tried, but if using on full effects it crushes with different messages. Anyone had luck with it?

When I first installed PT 7.4 in 10.5.2 my Core Audio worked, briefly. I was messing around and testing things out and when I launched Garageband I had a kernel panic, and Core Audio hasn't worked since, even AFTER a clean uninstall, installing 7.4.2pr and 10.5.3 still no luck with the Core Audio. PT is OK though, I've opened some sessions from PT 6.4 in 7.4.2pr that are full of plug-ins and they've played all the way through.

what is TVTK?

I've got issues with DV Toolkit.... all plugins seem to recognize my ilok license (even Vocalign which comes with DV Toolkit) EXCEPT DV toolkit... no timecode and no mp3 export option. Already downloaded latest pace drivers and installed them prior to installing 7.4.2 anyone find a workaround for this yet?
