Default Re: Anyone tried the Scheps 73?

I tried installing it on my system this evening, but it isn't showing up in the plug-ins menu. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi

You need to redownload the whole installer and select the plugins you want to use including whatever else ypu have from waves.

Real pain but we have seen this issue before. Make sure you download the AAX64 bit aswell if using PT11. In PT10 use the rtas version.

Yeah I liked it on the bass - but most of it didn't sound that different from the A/B

Edit of course the bass sounded pretty good going in

Looks interesting... I think I have too many EQ plug-ins right now, but I wouldn't hesitate to add another drop to the bucket. Any UAD users that have tried both?
Nice, especially at $99. Has quite a few more IO /sat features than the UAD. Useful video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqGsZ9rrUPY

Unfortunately this one looks better than it sounds. Once you almost get that nice saturation, it suddenly goes over. The window is very small. Not my fav.

I think I'm gonna skip this one. Checked the video, played with the demo...

This does nothing better or more (or even different) than what I already have. It's nice to have mid-side available in the same plug-in. Actually, I really dig the way the controls are placed. But the great layout doesn't make this worthwhile.

Then really Waves should have designed the plugin to lower the normal incoming level to work with the boost when applying the "drive" button. But regardless of the level, the Drive button sounds really awful at any level and settings. Even if I was doing something wrong.... there is no way this should sound that bad so easily.

Have you tried it?

(if I hadn't tried it, I would have the same reaction as you...)

It also doesn't map elegantly...or even properly to my ICON EQ knobs.

It must not have been fully tested.
