Can't hear audio on record-enabled track with 'Low Latency Monitoring' selected
Okay, I KNOW this is going to be one of those "Oh right!" moments, and I've figured it out before, but for some reason it's eluding me at present. I'm using a 002 rack with PTHD10.3.9 Native on a Mac, and when I choose Low Latency Monitoring, I can't hear audio on the record-enabled track. What am I overlooking? Curiously, in the manual, I see all this stuff about Low Latency Monitoring options (Enable the Low Latency Monitoring pop-up menu etc). But when I try to do what it says, those options are not even there. See linked photo...

Hey
I think you need to have the input monitoring button (green "I") enabled to hear the LLM signal but I am not 100% sure. Maybe try that and see if it works Best Regards Christopher

Re: Can't hear audio on record-enabled track with 'Low Latency Monitoring' selected
For me, I stopped using LLM after it was broken in some previous version(I think it was PT9). I just set the buffer to 64 for tracking.(besides, I needed plugins and sends to work during tracking here).

Tried that. No dice. It looks like it might have to do with having a v11 driver, which I used when demoing v11. Now I'm trying to figure out how to revert.

Well, my problem was solved by un-installing and re-installing PT10 and it's v10 drivers for 002. Now Low Latency Monitoring is once again working as advertised.

Out of curiosity, which version of PT? Is it 10.3.9?

Re: Can't hear audio on record-enabled track with 'Low Latency Monitoring' selected
Also I heard you have to be careful about having different named busses accessing the same hardware outputs. Sometimes sequences inherit multiple bus setups switching from room to room. So you'll have "Main Out" and "A 1-2" and "Output 1-2" all going out of the main outs, and it somehow messes up how LLM directs signal to the low-latency outputs.
