max sample rate of mbox using external converter
If I'm using my mbox with an external converter, is my maximum sample rate still 48k? I'll using the mbox with cubase 5 (so there is no software limitation). I'm going from my mic->pre->a/d converter->mbox via spdif.
If my external converter is doing the converting, and mbox is simply a digital interface or pass through, can I record at 96k? Also, are the "stand-alone" drivers stable if I'm using a third-party app? Thanks for your help. Josh |
