ilok not recognised + midi question

Hi,
Im new to pro tools having been a cubase man untill a few days ago.
I have bough the Digi02 rack + factory bundle.
i have 2 questions......
If i have my pc turned off for a while when i start it up again, the pc lists the ilok (which apparently holds the licenses for my plugins) as "unknown" and i cannot install any drivers for it. If i disconnect and re-connect sometimes the ilok lights up sometimes and the pc recognises it again. Any suggestions? or have i got a dodgy ilok?
second question is about midi, i think im doing something wrong, i plug my midi keyboard into the midi input and try to create it in the midi setup but under the "ports" section Pro tools says "none" and i can seem to get PT to see the Digi02 midi input.
Im really sorry if either of these is a stupid question....bear with me i'm new to this!
