Group Volume Edits With Clip Gain
Searched high and low in user guide and keyboard shortcuts guide and haven't run across the answer to this one yet. Hoping someone can help me.
Say I have for instance all the drum tracks in a song already grouped together. I then do a selection of audio and use the separate at selection command which creates a new clip up and down all the tracks in my group. Now here's the question. What is the keyboard command to raise or lower clip gain volume on all tracks in the group simultaneously? So far I have had to adjust the volume on each individual track in the group which is very time consuming. There must be a way to raise or lower clip gain volume on all tracks in a group together. Thanks.

Re: Group Volume Edits With Clip Gain
Thanks for your reply. Hard to believe Protools wouldn't have that. It would save a lot of time.

Re: Group Volume Edits With Clip Gain
Nudge the selected clip gain up : Control+Shift+Up Arrow/Start+Shift+Up Arrow
Nudge the selected clip gain down : Control+Shift+Down Arrow/Start+Shift+Down Arrow Or Start Shift Scrollwheel. Works perfectly on edit-grouped tracks and their clips in PT 11 at least.

Re: Group Volume Edits With Clip Gain
Thanks Joachim I'll give it a try. Do you know if it works is as small increments as 0.1 db?

Re: Group Volume Edits With Clip Gain
If you set 0.1 dB in Preferences - Editing - Clip Gain Nudge Value.
Or : select clips in the edit-grouped tracks , show the Clip Gain Line and adjust with mouse up/down while holding Ctrl (Win) (should be Cmd Mac). This the fine-control.
