Default Re: Offline Bounce

Of course no audio was played during the bounce cause audio is only played if you bounce in real time and not offline.

Default Re: Offline Bounce

If I were a betting man, I'd bet that its the UA plugins that are causing the slow times(consider what must happen with the round trip thru the UA processing and back) I would also recommend watching some tutorials on youtube on Track Freeze and Track Commit as these 2 processes, if used early in your mixing stage, might allow for faster BTD later. My 2 cents; lean on Track Commit more than freeze. I suggest that for 2 reasons. #1-frozen tracks cannot be edited(committed tracks are new audio files that can be edited). and #2-frozen tracks can give you grief if you try to move the session to another rig(like if you wanted to take the session to another setup so another person could add some tracks). While I might freeze some tracks so I can add some cpu hog plugins, or do a quick overdub(and need to kill latency), I tend to unfreeze as soon as possible(to avoid possible issues), but I might also simply commit tracks and make the originals inactive, but NOT hide them(keeps them handy for changes, or I can group the original and committed versions so edits get done to both
