Default seek time of 11 ms of the hard disk

does anybody knows if it is a problem to use a hard disk for recording with a seek time of 11 ms?
it's a Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 SATA 160 Gb 7200rpm 8Mb buffer size
the vendor said it would be no problem, but I'm not very sure
Thanks a lot

Digi recommends 10ms minimum. It may mean you cannot play or record 32 mono tracks at once.

Check the Seagate website with your drives model number. I just looked about a week ago and it looked like all of the 160GB SATA drives had a 8.5ms seek time
