Dissapointed with PT2018 Edit Window

The thing I was expecting most in this new version, was to have darker vertical lines in my edit window, or at least the possibility of making them darker from my preferences panel.

They are pretty much invisible and that makes audio editing very hard and time waisting! Maybe in 2018.2 🙏🙏🙏

Hope any developer could read this message and do something about it...

Try adjusting your monitor contrast to see if that helps. When zoomed in my frame lines are clearly visible.

I've never noticed a problem with this until the other day, when I was working on a friends system, a Retinal iMac. The vertical gray lines were almost invisible.

This should be fixed.

Hmm, on a retina MBP mine are just right..

so if avid makes them darker, i hope they add a slider option in preferences.

In S1 and Cubase when i demoed them, I specifically made the grid vertical lines light as in PT...

over here, i can easily see when i select different grid settings, the vertical blue lines. No, they are not strong, but i feel that was intended.

so yeah, i am all for those who find them too light, but just ask if they are changed to make it optional, as for me currently on my monitors, they are perfect as is.

I agree everybodies genetics and thus the rods in the eyes are individual not universal, so no universal contrast solution is ideal . An adjustable slider (just like the saturation slider on the mixer channel color window ) would be ideal
