Playlist tracks color

Hi there,

Each time I create a new playlist, my regions become colored uniformly which is very annoying. I've checked the ref guide but didn't find anything about it...

Any idea?

In Preferences, you'll find several options for track and region coloration.

I know but unfortunately it never applies to playlist - like if playlists wasn't considered as "tracks". Except playlists everything is fine...

I also suffer from this.

The track region will be the correct colour until you add a new playlist. It will change automatically.

I wonder if this has anything to do with auto-colour while loop recording with automatic new playlists?

An easy (and time consuming) workaround is to:
1 select the track with Color Palette open,
2 press Hold,
3 select all regions in the playlists, and
4 select the same colour.

I finally have the group and track colours the same automatically, now I need the regions!

How about this I want to have my waveforms color'd by track color but I also want to color the sections of my markers is this possible.

When I change the color my markers all of my waveforms go to this grey neutral bland look

I'm not absolutely certain that I know what you mean, but I don't think mine does that. My Color prefs are:

Default Track Color Coding: Tracks and MIDI channels
Default Region Color Coding: Track Color

If I have regions of various colors in a track, and make a duplicate playlist of it, the region colors are the same on the original and duplicate playlists. Nothing changes. Unless - if I then switch to Playlist view, where all of the track's playlists are showing at once, then, as expected, it will change the colors of default-colored regions per playlist. That's so when you comp, you can easily see which region came from which playlist. That's intended to be a feature, not a bug.
