Default PCI Farm cards in Mix systems DAE errors?

Wondering if anyone else out there has had DAE errors when mixing old PT III PCI Farm cards with Mix core in/outs?
Ive apparently got the right type of card, with the proper PCI match maker chip, but as soon as that lil sucker goes in I get the old DAE - 9162 error!

Ive tried reseating it several times and even swapped the ribbon cable as well, but to no avail. As soon as I hit play it runs for a second or two then system lock up force quit from the tapping fingers of death...

Anyone out there double check these serials? Ive checked them and they seem fine, the PCI card matches the compatability docs to my knowledge but maybe Im not reading them right:

PT III Refurbished PCI Farm card
Serial: FG 21526
AMCC chip: QE
Board manufactured in 97 and revision B

Many thanks folks!

Oh by the way!! Im running OS 9.2.2 with PT 5.1.3 on a brand spanking new G4 933 wiht loads of RAM. And the error still occurs even with base plug ins - its definately the Farm card.
Also running USD and 882 20 interfaces no problems without the farm.

Based on our compatibility documents, your DSP Farm is of proper revision.

Therefore, either the card or the TDM ribbon cable is malfunctioning. In addition to running DigiTest, you should try different nodes of the ribbon cable.

If the card fails DigiTest regardless of nodes used on the the TDM ribbon cable, please give your local Digi office a call to get an RA for the card:
