D-Command leds blinking while writing automation??

Dear All,

I was mixing yesterday and noticed that all the leds in my D-Command were still blinking while writing an automation. I guess this is either a bug or a parameter that should be fixed, as I find this rather misleading compared to automation in 7,1 where I would see leds being on during automation programming.

I know that this is a minor issue, but does anyone know anything about it?

This is an intentional change of behaviour. The same thing happened when Ams-Neve morphed the Logic 2 into the DFC. The reasoning is that (especially on a large surface) several non-flashing leds (the ones in write) don't stand out from a forest of flashing ones (the ones in a write-ready mode) (and it gives you a headache!) whereas several flashing ones do stand out from a background of static ones. This obviously fails if you have loads of controls in write all the time but most people don't once the session's set-up.
