Trying to add shortcut to Avid Control for Chord Symbols

Hi all, hoping someone can help me figure this out. In the edit window, there is a line at the top of the screen that allows me to add Chord Symbols. It shows somewhere between [Bars|Beats] and [Markers]. I use this feature often in my workflow and would like to add a shortcut in the Avid Control app. The command for it isn't in the menu bar. I only have access to adding a chord symbol by hitting the little "+" next to the word Chords. Ideally, I'd like to have that button available in the Avid Control App plus the ability to choose chord type and bass note from within the app. Is this possible?
