Re: Wow-Thank you (12.7 running great)
Hey thanks for the replies I am trying to decide If I want to go through erasing Sierra and PT 12.6.2 then reinstalling Sierra and my other Apps and plug ins and starting clean or just uninstalling trashing PT preferences and installing 12.7

Re: Wow-Thank you (12.7 running great)
Hi.
First, a new format clean install of Sierra then Pro Tools 12.6. For every new Pro Tools instal I clear out all plug-ins, install>Launch>quit the put back all plug-ins "Skipping" the defaults already installed from the first launch. Take the time, have backup drive (exact-clone) of current running system. Second to address the graphic issue additional information on your video card, OS, Ram, Boot drive space etc... would be needed.

Re: Wow-Thank you (12.7 running great)
After talking to someone from Avid at NAMM yesterday, I decided to upgrade my OS to 10.12.2 and am relieved to find that my graphics glitches are pretty much gone. El Capitan has been a pain for a while and I resisted upgrading since I was in the middle of a few big projects in 2016. I'm very happy with the stability and performance of my system again.

Re: Wow-Thank you (12.7 running great)
i think we only need an update that officially support 10.12.2 (Which I guess we shouldn't update more than 10.12.2) and turn off future updates ...

Re: Wow-Thank you (12.7 running great)
I've been testing 12.7 couple of days now with 10.12.2 (clean installed PT/OSX). No problems with my setup. I can run PT over ten hours without any need to restart. Also not a single crash yet. I think I'm going to stay Sierra now.

Re: Wow-Thank you (12.7 running great)
I've been running 12.7 on 10.8.5 (so that I can still use Pro Tools 10 TDM) and it has been great! Very stable. The only major problem is that it seems to reset all of my preferences about once a week in 12.7. Rare crashes. I'm happy with 12.7.
