Have you tried moving all AAX-plugins to the "unused" folder?

You'll find the 2 folders here (Win10):

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Avid\Audio\

Move all the files, from

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins

to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins (Unused)

and then trash prefs, restart, then try to start Pro Tools again.

If it now works, one of the plugins is causing the error.

Eliminate which one by moving back one file at a time to the original folder, then restarting PT to see.
Once you get the error again, you know the last plugin you moved caused it.

Then it's a matter of investigating whether there's an update for it, or the install was broken and you can un+reinstall it, or if the plug is simply incompatible for the time being.

As for the error saying assertion in E:\ - that's not a reference to any of your disks, it's the internal path in the code that didn't execute right.

removed all aax plug ins from 32 & 64 bit folders, deleted preferences still get:

Could not complete your request because Assertion in "E:\ Code\ 222370\ ProTools\ AAE\ Source\ AAX\ CFicAAXWidget.cpp", line 822.

(Use the Copy button to copy this message to the clipboard.).
Pro tools gets just past the initialize audio engine then I get the error.

Default Pro Tools Boot Error

What’s your interface?

Are you using a controller?

I had some weirdness happen awhile back with my controller, that sounded just like this.

What happens when you run it with just ASIO as the playback device?

Are the scarlet drivers up to date?

Now pro tools is so small I cant read it and I cant figure our how to make it readable.
