Default Focusrite D3 Still a problem

Using version 1.4.1 with 5.1.1 and 9.0.4 Mac OS. Ever since upgrading ProTools and the Focusrite I'll open sessions with the D3 inserted into a Master fader and I have to "wake up" the plug-in. Either by reloading a preset, clicking on the compare button or one of it's functions. Anyone else having this problem and is there a fix. It is becoming a real pain.
