Default DAE ERROR 9073 ...again

ok, i don't get this. I have defraged my drive like 3 times. I have consolidated my entire 44 track session, so each track is one piece of audio. But i keep getting this error. Now it's starting to happen in other sessions when my play point gets to a slice of audio. Also it is taking far longer to open each session than ever??? I have not changed a damn thing on this system for over a year. My drives still have at least 3 gigs open on each one. Any thoughts???

Judging from the things that you listed that you have done, my guess is that you have already read all of these...but did you check all 24 entries in the Answerbase on a search for 9073? Might be some nugget in there. The one regarding Beat Detective and consolidating was one I hadn't noticed before.

Yea, i've read all those before. What i ended up doing was backing up all my sessions from 3 hot swaps, wiping the drives, re-formating, then pulling the data back on the drives, and just to be sure, I started new sessions and just pulled in the track files and trashed the actual session folders. And everything is working fine with the DAE buffer still at (recommended setting). I don't know what to say, but i'm working fine now, so, yea.
