Default Installing additional Card in 192

I've installed an additional analog card in my 192... should I not see it in my Hardward Setup? I'm not seeing it anywhere... have re-booted everything.

As long as it's installed into the correct bay (slot 4, bottom right if look at the back of 192) and the ribbon cable is attached properly.

Then Setup > Hardware and look at your inputs or outputs (you didn't specify) 9-16 it should show up there, by clicking on the drop down menus on 9-16. ya?

There is only one slot open on the back of the 192... yes, I went into the Setup/Hardward section but did not see the extra 9-16 on the input/output sections...

did you just slide it in or did you actually remove the top and remove the cover plate to install the card
it sounds to me like you just popped in in the empty slot ?

I opened the top, inserted the card and carefully attached the ribbon connector..

to confirm:
did you put and A to D or a D to A card in?
did you try power cycling the 192?
next step, take the top off and double check the ribbon cables is seated

you won't see anything 'extra', just choose analog 9-16, instead of digital for those ins or outs.

good luck
