Where's My Free Pro Tools 11 Upgrade?

Hello,

I've just bought a PTLE crossgrade to PT10 activation card, from DV247, and did so to get ultimately get PT11.

I'm probably being over-cautious here but want to be absolutely sure... once I surrender PTLE 8 to get PT10, will I then receive an upgrade option to PT11?

Not automatic as far as I know. I believe you would need to not only register the Pro Tools 10 crossgrade, you would need to provide a copy of the receipt to Avid Customer Support. If it is a good deal, and cheaper than just buying the Pro Tools 11 crossgrade from PTLE (which includes Pro Tools 10), then sure, go for it. But if it is the same price as you can get the crossgrade to 11 on the Avid store or another dealer, then that would be easier to do.

Also...
You do not "surrender PTLE 8", since it is not iLok-authorized. You just need to provide the hardware serial number from your 003 Rack or other qualifying LE hardware device* to complete the crossgrade.

Yep it was slightly cheaper to go for PT10 crossgrade rather than 11, so I went for it. I guess I was just concerned whether or not I would qualify for a free upgrade, even months after 11 was released.

There's a few articles online that say no, or are unclear with these circumstances, so I thought I should check here.

Not sure what you are asking, in registration records for your email address, it shows:

I Purchased PT 9 Student in 2011 and received my free upgrade to PT 10 upon release. I have been checking my email and have yet to receive my upgrade to 11. Both PT 9 and the free upgrade to PT 10 are visible in my account. Would someone please let me know how to get this rectified.

Hello, I Hope I'm posting in the right place

I bought the student edition of Pro Tools 10 from sweetwater in march, and that computer I had it installed on died, so I recently purchased a Macbook Pro that had OsX Mavericks already on it, which pro tools 10 is sadly not supported on. I contacted Sweetwater's customer support and I was told I should have a pro tool's 11 activation code in my Avid account, but I'm aging trouble finding it, and I wasn't emailed anything. Help?
