Default "illegal instruction" when i was in pro tools

Hello. My english i s very bad, i hope you understand me...
i was recording in a pro tools session and just got this message:
"illegal instruction" in thread "mainthread" at address 0 x 0.
Then pro tools freeze and i had to use the "force quit".
My system: macbook 2 ghz intel core duo, osx 10.6.3, pro tools 8.0.3,mbox 2 pro, external drive Lacie,memory:2 gb 667 mhz ddr2 sdram.
Somebody help me?.
