Default 003 Rack,PT LE 8 and 27 inch imac ?

I have a 003 rack working on a Mac G4, and I would like to upgrade my Mac.
Can I get a used 27 inch imac or a new one and use my 003 with PTLE 8, as well as Waves ? I also have a G5 with 2-2.0 processors .what's the best way to go ??
Thanks
Ray

Most likely you won't be able to use PT8 because the new Imac will ship with Mountain Lion. You will need to get PT10. Also, your Waves plugins will probably have to be updated, as well as any other plugins.

i have a macbook pro OS 10.7.4 Lion with a Digi 003r and pro tools 8.0.5 LE. I also use a number of waves plugins. They work for me. I run a 32 inch LCD TV with the macbook pro. If the used imac has snow leopard or lion on it, you should be ok.

At worst, you will have to upgrade to Pro tools 9 or 10.
