It would be a real plus to have it. We have HD in "the studio" but that gets booked all the time and time is money! It's nice to track in the studio but go home and mix on my 003... but the delay comp is killing me.

I use ATA from Melomuse, which works good, but you first have to solve a quadratic equation before you can get it to work properly.

Quadratic equations??? we're musicians here!!!

But when it comes to this thread, I have a feeling that Avid will stick their fingers in their ears and sing - lalalalalalalalalalalalala - really loud. Unfortunately, when they pull their fingers out, the lala's will still be playing because of the time delay

I can honestly say that no one here has their fingers in their ears. Or elsewhere.

I don't even care for more tracks, I'm good with 64. But it makes things like Waves Tune impossible to use. I know there are alternatives, but I don't wanna use them/nudge my track back 3000+ samples.
I also don't like the fact that any outboard gear I use is delayed.

I know you guys are listening, please just give it to us, I don't even care if you don't fix the other bugs, it wouldn't be the first time you release new features without fixing the old ones.

Not all of us are musicians. Some of us are engineers. And quadratic equations are what engineers do. I'm just playing with ya. I just happen to remember doing quadratic equations in high school and was pretty good at it. I was already nerdy then too. Here is a refresher for the musicians.

x = (-b "+ or -" the square root of (b squared - 4ac))/2a

I choose to see this as a good sign. (For ADC in the future I mean, not where the fingers aren't)

ADC will be at least 6 months away.
