Default Tweaking

I wonder how you set up a mac to run as best as possible with protools, logic, and such.. ?

I´ve heard of an adjustment to make the cpu use it´s power more to audio, then graphic, but I haven´t found that one yet..

Any help accepted!

Other than that, if it ain't broke - don't fix it!

And leave everything where the installer puts it - don't play "musical apps" or "musical folders" like some Windows users seem to like to do.

I forgot some stuff:

If you don't leave your computer on 24/7, use MacJanitor.

You should also clean caches.Read up on it here:
http://www.thexlab.com/faqs/repairprocess.html

Be aware of this:
http://www.thexlab.com/faqs/syscachecleaneffects.html

And use the cache cleaner all the hip and groovy kids use:

Yeah, like editing audio with a QuickTime movie open in the session. I get the spinning beach ball, but no crashes. This old baby is holding up pretty well.
