Default one buton mouse (in right forum)

Posted this in Windows forum by mistake so will repost here as it is definately a Mac question

I notice there are a lot of right click contextual menus. Normally on a Mac control click gives that function but not in Protools it seems. (or is there?)
Is there any right click functionality that is not available from the standard menus?
thanks

ProTools is more about keyboard shortcuts when it comes to accessing functions, there aren't any right-click contextual menus that I'm aware of.

I'll give you an answer here as well. Right-clicking in the edit window give you a menu with the ordinary copy/paste as well as a few snap options. This only shows up right clicking, not ctrl-clicking.

Right-clicking OR ctrl-clicking the track name in the mix window give you a menu with options such as "send to sibelius" and "export midi" if you use it on an instrument or midi track. There is also options that are common to all tracks (I think) like "hide" and "make inactive".

But as Slim Shady said, Pro Tools is more about key commands I almost never right- or ctrl-click at all.

Btw, I'm talking 7.3 here...

There's also a menu with a list of the short cuts that you can access if you enable "Full Keyboard Access" in Keyboard and Mouse in System Preferences. Hit Control+F1 (that's the default; you can change it); the "Apple" menu drops down, and from there just hit the left arrow once.
