Issues Downloading Sonic Drop Content to External SSD

I'm trying to update the Sonic Drop content on my Samsung T9 and I'm unable to get it to work. In the past, it always worked as expected when trying to download the content straight onto my computer. When I try to download to my drive I get these weird file extensions that have "safari." I can't try again as when I try to reload or reset the Sonic Drop page in order to gain access again to the download buttons for the packs I'm missing, it still says "Downloaded." for those packs so I'm unable to attempt once more. How can I get this to work? Many thanks! :)

What exactly are you doing that gives you files with those extensions?

I'm just trying to download the packages after setting the location for the downloads to a folder on an external drive.
