Default HD software can be transferred on its own now?

Just double checking with those who know-

According to the updated Transfer of Ownership, it seems to imply that you can now sell and transfer your HD software (HD9,10,11,12) on its own without having to sell it with the original hardware. Is this correct? And if I understand correctly, you still need to buy the ASC code for $79 or whatever it is, but it can be done?

I just want to confirm, especially if I can hear it from someone like Jeffro, or anyone else who works for Avid.

If so, this is great. Although I wonder why HD9,10,or 11 can't just be transferred via Ilok just the same way that HD7 and 8 can, since there were no upgrade plans attached to those. But anything is better than nothing.

Yes it can - and I have already done one with HDX card. But I confirmed with support that it would have been just fine on its own. They even transfer the balance of your support plan.

You can now sell/transfer your HD licenses? When was this updated?
