Default Hardware buffer errors question

i am running a 2009 Mac Pro 8 core, 10.6.2, PT 8.03, 12 gigs ram, internal drives, 1 uad 2 quad card, and a 003R at 48hz.
3 instrument tracks
11 aux tracks
10 audio tracks
3 Altiverb RTAS
8 stems
I am seeing 39% RTAS usage and get hardware buffer errors at 256 buffer size. I need to run at 128 so I can record the band.
Do I need more ram?
If you need more info i will reply asap.
thanks

Rtas plugins take up extra voices. Also you may want to have one Altiverb track and then use the mulitple instances of the single altiverb for your other needs. (insted of having 3 seperate RTAS plugins.

Still seems a bit odd, that your getting buffer errors. Your system seems to be powerful enough.
