Thank you Digidesign - I would have liked some more specific information regarding the converters, but the microphone preamp information was very detailed and complete, and that's exactly what I was hoping to hear! [img]images/icons/cool.gif[/img]

I wouldn't sweat the frequency response specs too much. That's just the range of what are considered the "flat" response. I have an Arcam stereo, and it's "flat" from 20hz - 20khz, but it handles frequencies out to 100khz! I see similar specs from the other makers, tho they might take it out to 40-50khz within -3db.
