Can't hear my guitar during playback
I recorded a rhythm track and now I want to play guitar solos over it. When I play the track, I can no longer hear my guitar. When I stop the track, I can hear my guitar again. I don't want to record a second track at this time, I just want to play along with the track I already recorded. So I created a second track, enabled it, added my Amplitube plugin, but I still cannot hear my guitar while the rhythm track is playing. I'm using an M-Track Audio Plus as my interface. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Can't hear my guitar during playback
Can you ever hear the guitar on this new track? Do the meters move? ie. the input and output IO correctly assigned?
You obviously need to record arm the track the guitar is going to. And play with Track>input only and Track>Auto Input and them read the Pro Tools Reference Guide to understand this properly, |

Re: Can't hear my guitar during playback
Yes I can hear the guitar and see the meters move...only if the other track isn't playing. When it's playing, I get no sound and meters on the 2nd track. I/O must be fine otherwise I wouldn't hear anything even when the first track is stopped. I'm not sure what you mean by track>input and track>auto input.

OK, I just figured it out. ALT+K did it. Thank you.

Re: Can't hear my guitar during playback
I'm a complete beginner at this. I know next to nothing about recording. The last time I recorded riffs was with a cassette player! Thanks again. :)
