Default What is \"Digidesign Database\" folder?

I've looked throught manual but I haven't nothing about "digidesign database" folder which PTLE creates in the root of each drive (even my usb flash key!).
What is this and how I can turn it off?

The Digidesign Databases get created automatically on all mounted drives when using Protools.

More information can be found in chapter 2 of the DigiBase Guide, available from the help menu, start menu, and free online here.

As far as I know, the only way to not have the db created on a drive is to not have it mounted when using PT. (I could be wrong about that, though)

This is the folder where Digidesign collects all your personal data including bank account activity. Whenever you open Pro-Tools this folder is uploaded to Digidesign's marketing department where they plan all sorts of annoying direct sales campaigns. They also analyze your finances and adjust their pricing and specials to keep you broke, yet still able to spend every last cent on their stuff.

JUST KIDDING

This is where the information you see in the workspace browser is stored. You can't turn it off. If you don't want the folder on a drive just make sure the drive isn't mounted when you start Pro-Tools.
