Default Patching iPhone(Apple Music/iTunes)

Hello! I’d like to know if it’s possible to patch an iPhone into the Control 24 for monitoring music when in a PT session and also when not. I know there are connections on the rear for External Sources In and Submix In but not sure they can be used/monitored when a session is open.

Looking forward to your suggestions!

It’s a little unclear what you’re asking but a simple google search would find you the manual

http://akarchive.digidesign.com/supp...ide.pdf#page23

In which case you would find that the Control 24 has a dedicated monitor section which allows for external sources which can be selected with or without an open session. If you’re looking for it to route your iPhone into Pro Tools then you would need to plug the iPhone into a dedicated input. But there are other ways to do this without cables.

Thanks! I was unaware this “multi mode” was available in the Utilities menu.
