I"m back again! (cloud questions)

Hi guys. I'm back. No point going in to why I've been absent. Anyway, I now own a competent pc courtesy of Sweetwater. (Rack mount, Windows 10 and Pro Tools 12). I don't quite understand some of the changes like the difference in a project and just doing a new song,(local). What's with the Cloud thing? Lot's of questions but given time I'm sure I'll be right back to my old unsure and questioning self. I'll do my best to not ask dumb questions this time. Thanks for letting me back in.

Project-cloud, Session-local. easy!!

Lots of people decry Avid's focus on the Cloud as something that's not needed. I know I don't need it. BUT..... the next logical progression is to allow "intranet collab" which will be HUGE for many people, especially post.
