MDD Kernel crash with Accel
Has anyone else seen this?
MDD dual 1.25 Gig, OS X.3.8, PT 6.7cs8. Studio client's rig being upgraded to HD2 Accel. With just a clean install of OS and PT the Accel card causes a kernel crash. Using an HD Process card instead of the Accel card everything works fine. The Accel card passes Digitest. The crash happens as ProTools launches and tries to 'initialise hardware'. I am getting another Accel card but want to know if anyone else has had a similar experience. If CoreAudio installed then again get a Kernel crash with the Accel card installed if Core Audio is called.

Hello,
I would just double check the flex cable is connected correctly between the cards!! i think digi test will still ok the card without the flex cable!!? i might be wrong, but i'm sure i read this before. Chris
