No Sound from NI Kontakt 5-AXX inside PT

I am running the latest version of Pro Tools on a Mac Pro (mid 2012), OS 10.13.6. I cannot get any sound out of my Kontakt 5 player. I have tried most of the libraries inside. The MIDI is working just fine - I see what looks like output playing on the meters within the Kontakt player - but I hear nothing. When I set it up as a standalone player - perfect!!! When I use it in another DAW, Digital Performer - perfect! I just cannot get it to sound inside Pro Tools. It used to work just fine - there must be some setting that I changed? Any thoughts?

have look at the playback engine menu. what audio interface is selected there?

How do I find the Playback engine? I'm not seeing it anywhere ... this may be my problem ...

In Pro Tools look at the dropdowns and find settings and there you will see Playback Engine. PS What interface do you have?

Check the output configuration settings - there are ones for PT, standalone, etc. When you installed the plugin did you install every plugin format variation? Make sure you have the latest revision of K5 Player.


I can email you an output.cfg file that'll give you 8 stereo outputs for Kontakt. I originally built it for the full version of Kontakt 5 but I would think it would work for the Player version.
