Default Pro tools go back 2 frames when stop

Hello,

Does anyone know why my Pro tools go back 2 frames before after every stop ? It's very quick but it creates latency when using play stop really often...

I compared to my MacBook Pro, and I didn't find where this pref could be...

Any idea ?

I do not have any pre/post-roll enable.
The behavior is the same with and without "Insertion follows Playback" enable.

Config :
Z440, 6C 32Go Ram & SSD, Pro tools Ultimate HDX 1 with MTRX. There isn't any medias in the session.

Are you possibly in a (non standard) grid mode?

So are you saying that when you hit play the session starts playing from 2 frames *before* the playback cursor? Or are you saying you hit stop and the playback cursor moves back 2 frames from where it was initially?

Is "fade in" enabled in the transport window?

Hello,

I'm saying that when I hit stop it moves back 2 frames before the last timecode I saw when I hit stop.

Well no, I'm in slip mode.

MMmm I don't think so. I'm locked on a Sync HD video ref generating a WordClock for MTRX. Do you think I'd rather try with the Loopsync output ?

I precise there isn't any media in my pro tools session.

Ok...It's the same thing bypassing the sync hd, being sync in MTRX internal ref.

I'm thinking that it's just a latency issue...Try with yours Pro tools pressing Start and stop really quickly after. Is there kind of the same issue ?

I have also observed a similar behaviour and discussed it in this thread

http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=402873

I didn't find an answer...
