Default Shortcut question - PLEASE help.

Is there a shortcut to disable all plugins on a single track or in a session, how can you set your own shortcuts on version 6.9.2 on a PC please? I have been asking this so many time on so many forums and people just dont seemt o want to answer.
Is this possible or not?

Thanks

L.Dudley

But this only disables one plugin, I need to disable all of them so that I can instantly A/B between settings. I have also seen that you can create your own shortcuts for any command in the menu bars that is followed by three dots e.g. "Save File As...". However on the MAC this must be done through the MAC control panel, anyone managed to do this on a PC?

I don't know of any short cut to disable all plug-ins on a track with one click. However, by pressing Ctrl/Alt/click you can disable them on the track-one at a time. This is not the same as bypassing them. When you disable them, they do not use CPU power. Do the same procedure to turn them back on.

I sometimes disable tracks to reduce CPU load if overdubbing a part late in the session. It cuts down on crashes for me.

Take care,
Dan

This will work as long as you only need to do one or two tracks. Duplicate the track and delete the plugins on the dupe. Or consolidate the audio, create a new audio track and copy the audio to the new track(with no plugins). Now you can mute each track one at a time for comparison.
