ADAT Optical Cable
We want to hook up the ADAT Optical I/O Bridge with our Mixer Yamaha O2R. The Problem here is, my Console is 20 Meters away from my Machine room.
The Questions here are What is the Maximum Length of the Optical Cable that is available in the market? Secondly would there be a loss if the Optical cable is more than 5 Meters?

how coincidental. I work for a nationwide gear place. the longest we carry is thirty feet.What is that? About 10 meters? I have read though, that you should try to stay under about twenty feet with optical cable.

Hosa are bringing out a Lightpipe repeater type of thing. No idea how good it is though.
