Pro Tools 9 - tech spec??
Hi all,
can anyone point me to where I can find out the following info? 1) Does Pro Tools 9 require iLok / USB key authorisation like M-powered? (Thus losing a USB port) 2) Can it run on PPC Machines or just Intel? 3) What's the minimum spec required to run it? Thanks yawl!!

Re: Pro Tools 9 - tech spec??
I found the answers:
http://www.avid.com/US/products/Pro-Tools-Software Yes it does require an iLOK. So essentially Pro Tools 9 is really the new Pro Tools M-powered. On a Macbook with 2 USB ports there's no way I'm gonna use one of them to authorise software. What a joke. Pro Tools LE is gone and Pro Tools M-Powered has superseded it!!

Just use a USB hub for everything but the interface. Or don't update at all. If what you have is working, why change it
