Default Another reinstatement question

I have to ask as I am receiving different answers from different people, so looking for a definitive answer, hopefully from tech support.

I bought PT a few years ago, education version, so had licenses for 10/11/12, and am running 12.5.2 on High Sierra, it lapsed as I only bought it once without using any update plans etc.

I have ordered an M1 Mac and looking to get the most recent version of PT running again.

I am still in education and looking to 'reinstate' my license for PT, I want a one-off payment and not per month rental.

Is this the correct software bundle for me?

Thanks Christopher.

I can't message AVID as I don't have a current product which lists my system ID, so I am unable to even fill in the form to 'request access to support centre (Portal)'.
Is there any other way I can find my system ID?

When I try to fill in this form....

MY AVID SUPPORT CENTER ACCESS REQUEST FORM

It asks for my system ID.
When I check under all my old products inside my account (My Products and Subscriptions), I can't find my System ID under any of them.

Maybe this is because none are current? Catch 22 perhaps...

Go to your avid account and start a free support code and wait for the suppoer to get back. This is a user forum so hard to get support from Avid.

I will ask Avid for you again.

Hello Andrew,

That is the right product to upgrade from a Pro Tools 9/higher license assuming you are eligible for academic pricing (check that here).

Also note that we have not qualified the M1 or Big Sur so please subscribe to this KB article to be notified of developments there. If you buy the upgrade for that purpose you can wait to redeem the code.

Thank you to you both!

I couldn't start a support code/ticket as I have no working version of protools, no system ID etc. Hence posting here. I tried to explain that, but obviously failed.

I'll buy this upgrade straight from Avid instead. Then at least I can contact support through my new license if I need to.

Just tried to order from Avid site and got this message....

"Your eligibility verification status: TIMED OUT - You are allowed up to 30 days to provide valid documentation. Your request has timed out in our system but may be reopened by your request."

JC, any chance you could reopen/reset this please and I will provide proof of eligibility?
