Default sync issue importing 48 and 44.1 audio

I'm importing audio from two SD recorders: one recorded at 44.1 kHz/16-bit and the other at 48 kHz/24-bit. I having sync/drift issues = about 4 minutes in, the sync is off by about 3 frames (44.1 audio is 3 frames later than the 48)

Is there a way for ProTools to convert these different rates to line up in sync?

I tried converting the 44.1 audio in Quicktime to 48 but same result.

thanks

Pro Tools can convert the 44.1 to 48 and it's SCR is way better than QT's

By SD do you mean Sound Devices or just some cheap recorder that record to an SD card? if the latter there is a high probability that it has a cheap clocks that are +/- 5%

So you can use TEC (or X-Form if you have it) to get one to match the other

I've never had a sync problem with my *professional* Secure Digital (SD) recorder slipping. In this specific case, a different engineer provided the 44.1/16 audio and wasn't told in advance to record at 48/24. I don't know what SD recorder he uses but assumed it wasn't "cheap".

I do not have X-form but I will try TCE.

Thank you for the reply.

Anyone else?

Someone suggested going the opposite route and converting my 48/24 files to 44.1/16 - anyone tried that?
