Have you done a search in www.Digidesign.com for "9129"? Did anything stick out in the 36 articles, especially this one? While the forum is a great resource, it's not the only resource....

What precipitates the error and what steps have you done to resolve it?

To be honest with you, I have NO CLUE! Like...It used to work a couple weeks ago until I switched over to my sound card for a moment. When I tried to switch back to the Mbox, I keep getting the 9129 and a whole bunch of other stupid errors.

I tried resolving it by re-formating my HD/(I haven't tried wiping my Audio Drive yet) and it still gives me this problem...

I remember the very first time I encounterd this problem,I upped the Virtual Memory and everything seemed to run seamless..

Now that I'm back to Zone 1 all the other remedies are not killing this 9129 error. I truly dont know what to do...Im thinking of refomatting along with my Audio Drive to see if it'll help things work...

PT has been optimized for multi-core since 7.0, there is no need to set the processor affinity-let it be.

Make sure drive indexing is turned off on all drives.

Make sure the drives are set to UDMA5 or 6 in BIOS

Use the correct SATA/IDE driver for your chipset.

BunDLeZ
You better check your fragmentation on your audio drives after unchecking indexing service. Mine were full of plug-in settings and needed to be formatted. Good luck tweaking
