Default Best type to syn 2 pro tools with this requirment.

we use 2 pro tools to running a show 1 for main and other for back up
Pro Tools A system : Pro tools 10 with 003 Rack (Main Multitrack Playback)
Pro tools B System : Pro tools 10 with 003 Rack (Backup for Pro tools A Cash)

requirement.
I need Pro tools B run with Pro tools A but when Pro Tools A stop I don't need pro Tools B to stop.

I'm sorry for my english it's not very well but I think everybody to understand my question.

Best Regards,

Kai

Not sure of the specifics, but it sounds like you would need some kind of time code feeding both DAWs so that one won't directly affect the other.

You need to have the slave chasing MTC or LTC that is sent from the master system. But, set it up so it will freewheel on its own in the event of a TC drop (what would happen if the master crashes).

Makes sense?
