Default Reports on 6.7 here, please.

Ok beta-testers,

please tell me (and others) how the 6.7 operates. (cs-1?) Is it flawless? Are the new features cool? Etc, etc...

Thanks!

I can tell you that I just a HD-3 session with 6.7 today (not my choice to do it on new software but it was loaded when I came in), on a system that has been stable for a long time. 6.7 crashed so often (disk i/o errors, etc on a stable, working system that's immaculately maintained), and so badly I had to cut the session short and send the client home. So, Im not impressed at all. In 15 years I've called a session maybe 5 times, not a fun thing.

Seem pretty cool to me. I did some inital run thrus and eveything looks and feels great.

1 bug though. Import Audio from Current movie, doesn't work. I'm getting an audio file the length of the movie, but it's just a series of 1 sed pops. Can somebody else with 6.7 try to import audio from current movie and see if it works.

6.7 in some way is like the first 6.x.
There's planty of code that got replaced and that alone cause some stability issues for this release.

6.4 is the most stable 6.x to my opinion...

Another issue which isn't a bug but you should be aware is Memory.

The new 6.7 takes more ram as you do lots of edits.
You should go with more than 512MB RAM if possible as 512MB would fill up faster than 6.4. I believe all the new regions and colours got the data that is stored in the ram to be bigger...

I suggest waiting few CSes (CS3 ) before using it with clients.
