What I did to make the alt button a switcher for my small monitors is on the Omni's Hardware/Monitor tab set Analog Outs 7 and 8 to L and R. (Analog Outs 1 thru 6 are used for my 5.1 monitors)

I then set the Omni's Hardware/Analog Outs tab to TRS Mirrors 7 and 8.
