Default Arturia Analoag Lab in PT 11 [resolved]

When I attempt to instantiate Analog Lab in Pro Tools 11.3.1, I get a small blank window and the process hangs.

I can instantiate the 32-bit plugin in Pro Tools 10. If I save that session and attempt to open it in Pro Tools 11, then get the following assertion failure:

Error: read_size == sizeof(single_track_mode)
file: /jenkins/root/workspace/VC4_hotfix/PRODUCT_NAME/analoglab/label/XCODE4/analoglab/src/StaticLib/Labo2Processor.cpp
line: 568

and a bunch of others.

Has anyone had any luck with this?

Being that you give no system info I'm only guessing and that could be dangerous (you can NEVER give to much info). When the V Collection 4 came out I had several issues with Analog Lab which I had had previous to getting the VC4 package. Arturia support told me to uninstall/delete Analog Lab, download the latest version and install that. Took care of everything.

Can you open Analog Lab in standalone mode and how does that work for you?

I'm on OS X 10.9.5 with PT 11.3.1 on a 2010 Mac Pro with HDX. Standalone and PT 10 work fine. Downloaded latest installer from Arturia website. I will try reinstalling.

OK, I ran the AAXPlugins Updater and then reinstalled Analog Lab, now it works.

Cool you got it working. AAXplugins updater - not familiar with that. Arturia uses their own ASC updater software.

This was a separate download. I didn't run it initially because it was from 2013 and I assumed it would've been rolled into the current installer which dates from this year.

It may have been but I've found out the hard way that Arturia updates don't always work the way one things they would. IOW they're not always cumulative updates and even when they may be they don't always work that way.
